Son and Foe was started by Jeremiah Sturgill as a personal project after his graduation from Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington).

Overly ambitious and without a firm ground in… well, reality, the first year passed with lots of sound and fury, signifying not too much, and four issues of an interesting e-zine filled with great fiction. Live and learn.
