Unexpected Time Capsule Found in Undeveloped Film

by Jeremiah Sturgill, posted on July 21, 2007 — No comments, filed under Still Images, Multimedia, Nonfiction

I recently stumbled across some posts at this blog where the blogger (one Mr. Mark Smith) talks about how he purchased an old tin of film off ebay that had expired in 1941. On a lark, he tried to develop some of the film, and lo! There were neat things on it.

One thing is for sure the original photographer was very good at catching the moment, I’d love to know who he was!

Here is one of his favorite images from the film:

“Gentlemen, There Will Be No War with Germany”

Gentlemen, there will be no war with German - fair use thumbnail.

After checking out those gems of old photographs, you may also want to stop by his “King of the Blues” gallery, which has some great shots of B.B. King.
