What’s even better than dorky video game nostalgia? Dorky video game nostalgia remixed to a techno beat.

I stumbled across The Precursors’ collection of remixed tunes from Star Control II, downloaded the lot, and have been enjoying the hell out of them ever since. Some songs are better than others, of course, but there is no sense whining about the occasional minor misfire. It’s a labor of love, and it’s being given away for free.
