Men high-fived.
Basketballs bounced.
Dogs played.
Clouds wafted.
Frisbees floated.
Kites soared.
Laughter hung on the air.
Strollers strolled.
Park grass glistened.
Picnic blankets fluttered.
Vendors grinned.
Women in floral dresses chatted on cell phones.
Gay men held hands.
Young couples huddled.
Skyscrapers towered.
Distant horns blared.
:05
A xenophobe smiled.
:06
A dumpster shattered.
The air ripped.
A university’s seismograph twitched.
Eardrums burst.
Shards zipped.
Bodies broke.
:10
Trash rained.
:17
Dust fell.
Particles lingered.
:34
Victims stirred.
:57
Sirens wailed.
News anchors broke in.
:59
Men high-fived.

Son and Foe is really nice-looking and well-done. I’m sad to hear about the hiatus, but I hope you come back as strong as ever in 6 months. I really like the music packaged with the ‘zine, and I think that’s a feature that sets it apart. Can’t wait to see the next issue.

Hey John–thanks for the kind words. And the story, of course!

Whether it’s another issue of S&F or something a little different, we’ll definitely have something ready by June ‘07, at the latest.
