Nominations begin today at storySouth for the best on-line stories of 2005. Entry is free (though a complicated promise is involved) and all stories in S&F qualify. You can nominate two stories yourself. Last year, in addition to another story by an author I didn’t know, I nominated my own story. I had to – I was it’s biggest fan. I think it would be great to see all of the stories at S&F nominated. If you do decide to enter yourself in the competition, consider nominating another story you liked from the magazine as well. There’s so many good ones to choose from! The magazine that publishes the winning story gets a bit of attention too.
