It’s been a while since I’ve had any writing news, and now suddenly there’s a fair bit to tell.
First of all, Pseudopod have been good enough not only to accept my story “Stockholm Syndrome”, but to podcast it at as well. In my completely biased opinion, Mur Lafferty has done a wonderful job in the reading of it, and the response has been astonishing, with–at time of writing–about 11,000 downloads and some very positive comments. Anyway, it’s the simple tale of one man dealing with the death of his son while battling hordes of the living dead, and if that sounds at all appealing then you can listen to or download it here: Stockholm Syndrome
Elsewhere, From the Asylum webzine recently published my flash fiction piece, King Gob’s Warcry. It’s incredibly short, and worth reading if only because it reveals a chilling threat to humanity that, for whatever reasons, the mainstream media are choosing to ignore.
Finally more information on both of these stories and a whole lot more stuff besides can be found at my shiny new website. Okay, it’s not that shiny, but it’s a work in progress, and if you only knew how long it took me to make the picture of the guy sitting on the moon then you’d probably be a whole lot less judgemental, damn it! Anyway, it will improve over the coming months, which is at least one reason to check by there regularly.
