Robert Burke Richardson, author of issue one’s When the Great Clod Belches, is a fan of Lennon’s first solo album, Plastic Ono Band. Coincidence? Fate? Who cares. Take what you like and leave the rest – just don’t say anything bad about my boy Shatner. Speaking of Shatner, Mr. Richardson is of the opinion that he and Kirk are one-and-the-same – no longer actor and character, but some more mythic, metaphysical fusion of the two wherein the component pieces have been destroyed in the process of creating the newer, better whole.

I can dig that.
