Paul E. Martens, one of two Paul’s with a middle initial in issue one alone (!), is also a fan of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. He doesn’t like sweet potatoes, though; their voices give him the willies. First-Placer in the 1999 Writers of the Future Contest, to know him is to know somebody.
Paul is, in short, what you would have become if you hadn’t listened to your mother when she told you to study hard, say your prayers and eat your vegetables. He has had stories published in Son and Foe #1, #3 and #4, Writers of the Future XVI, Low Port, I, Alien, Indy Men’s Magazine and other print and online magazines and anthologies. Upcoming publications include stories in Rosebud, and Golden Age SF: Tales of a Bygone Future.
