Joe R. Lansdale
Joe R. Lansdale resides in Nacogdoches, Texas with his wife, Karen. Two-time inductee into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Mr. Lansdale has also founded his own school of martial arts: Shen Chuan, Martial Science. If you liked Steppin’ Out, Summer, ‘68, then be sure and pick up his short story collection Bumper Crop from Golden Gryphon Press - it won’t disappoint.
Amongst Mr. Lansdale’s many and varied achievements is the fact that Bubba Ho-Tep, the indisputable pinnacle of the Elvis vs. Egyptian Mummy movie genre, was based on his novella.
