Janelle Turgeon is a complicated person. On the one hand, she thinks root beer is overrated; on the other hand, she’s obviously a very capable writer with a great sense of humor. So what should be done with her when Son and Foe’s special cadre of pseudo-profound, theater exercise hell-proof replicants take control? A merciful end, or a writing stipend? No need to answer. This is a riddle, wrapped in an enigma: only time will tell.
