Better late than never.

Well, a couple things have conspired to make this week start a little later than usual. First, I made the rookie mistake of composing the first blog entry in-browser several days ago, and it’s lost now. Gone. Never to be recovered. I didn’t have the energy to try and reconstruct it, so here we are.

(Note to self: I am an idiot. Second note to self: Go back in time, and don’t click the link Josh IM’d you. Reply to self: Yup, I’ll get right on that.)

And we’ve had no heat at the S&F headquarters (i.e., the house I’m renting a room in) for the past whatever, only it’s started actually getting cold, so that’s sucked.

Heat tonight, though, so all is forgiven.

In the meantime, I’ve caught up on all of the slush reading. A few stories squeaked over the 30-day limit, but just a few. Everyone else, except a few I’m still pondering, should receive a response by tomorrow (wednesday) morning. I’m sure you’re on pens and needles, right? Right. (Pun or misspelling? You decide.)

I was going to give three things in this entry, namely a fake flash fiction story, a humorous review of the bible, and a movie review of a movie I liked. Instead, I think I’ll stop with some chaotic rambling, a few excuses, and a link to the conclusion of Tarzan, which really is quite a good story and I hope you take the time to read it someday. The other items–the fake flash fiction and the reviews–will be added later on in the week. You know, like a blog.

Okay, one last thing:
The Straight Dope on whether a human being could really swing on vines through the jungle.
